Application
Applications for the 2008 Environmental Stewardship Award Program are due on March 14, 2008. Any individual, group or organization is eligible to nominate one individual/business who raises or feeds cattle. Individuals and families may not nominate themselves. However, we expect nominees will be involved in the preparation of the application.
Nominees need not be NCBA members, but they must support the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association’s mission: Working to increase profit opportunities for cattle and beef producers by enhancing the business climate and building consumer demand. Past nominees are encouraged to resubmit their application. Previous winners may not reapply.
The full nomination application and directions for its completion are linked to in pdf format below. Along with the typed application, one nomination letter and three letters of recommendation highlighting the nominee’s leadership in conservation are expected.
